Students will knit a stockinette bookmark pattern with the use of knit and purl stitches, as well as a working knowledge of fabric sides.
Required Materials: Yarn has been generously donated for each student to create the class project. All other tools and materials will be provided for the duration of the class.
Optional Materials: Students have the option of using personal materials in class. If you elect to provide your own materials, please bring approximately 10-15 yards of bulky weight (size 5) yarn, size US 10.5 (6.5 mm) knitting needles.
Note: Basic knitting skills (including casting on, the knit stitch, and binding off) are necessary to start this project.
