Ready for your first serger project? We will teach you sewing techniques for finished seams using pro-finish sergers. Students are required to bring fabric.
Create a simple hooded sweatshirt from start to finish using professional patterns, overlock and professional sewing machines in this 4-day series.
Each session will be 2 hours.
Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes to this series.
We provide the pattern and will be using Kwik Sew Hooded Sweatshirt K3045 for the sweatshirt.
This is a multi-day class.
Students are required to bring materials:
2 1/2 yards of fabric.
FABRICS TYPES: Sweatshirt fleece, double knit or Knit Jersey (for lighter hoodie).
1 yard of drawstring rope.
Students are required to have basics sewing skills and taken Introduction to the Sewing Machine, Patterns and Fabric and Serger Basics Level 1.

Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
